I founded Vonar.ai in March 2025. Today Vonar AI describes itself as technology services for government: it takes in the data an agency already has, runs automations that get real work done in the field, and modernizes the systems underneath.
Starting with voice
Vonar began with one painful problem: government and enterprise phone lines. Legacy IVR menus send callers in circles and route requests to the wrong place. We built AI voice agents on Twilio that run real-time speech-to-text, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and then actions, filing tickets directly into Jira, ServiceNow and BMC. In pilots they automated 60% of calls into tickets with response latency under 600 ms. Picture a 311 line where a caller reports water coming up through a street, and the agent creates the work order, notifies crew dispatch and texts the caller an update before the call ends.
From voice agents to the whole stack
Voice turned out to be the front door to a bigger need. Vonar now builds from the core up:
- AI & data: AI strategy and readiness, data ingestion and pipelines, voice agents and AI IVR, automations with audit trails and a person in the loop.
- Cloud & operations: infrastructure as code on AWS GovCloud or Azure Government, observable pipelines, managed services and help desk.
- Software & integration: legacy modernization, portals, case management and integrations with ServiceNow and Microsoft 365.
- IoT networks: LTE, LoRa and satellite gateways, phone and SMS routing, and device fleet management.

- Built and deployed a CMMC and compliance generative AI chatbot for AATD, a federal prime with $300M+ in contract volume, from requirements through production in a segregated federal environment.
- Live demonstrations for the GSA, congressional offices and U.S. Navy stakeholders, plus a presentation at the U.S. Capitol on how AI can transform services for Congress.
